The Statistics Log (Statlog) report should be run every day after you have performed your daily backup. This allows you to create statistical reports for the previous day’s activity.
The Administration group of reports is used primarily by the SirsiDynix Symphony administrator and is related to the operation of your system. The Administration reports accomplish the following tasks.
| • | Load new or revised user files electronically extracted from other databases and notify users of PIN changes |
| • | Track system activity based on specific transaction commands, or specific workstations, and review logs of activity |
| • | Load circulation transactions collected while the system was unavailable (offline workstation transactions) |
| • | Manage data for Offline WorkFlows and Selfcheck components |
| • | List alternate IDs that duplicate existing user IDs (for libraries that use the NISO Circulation Interchange Protocol, NCIP) |
| • | List invalid item IDs and user IDs (for libraries that use barcode validation) |
