Circulation > Display User Wizard

Display User Wizard

The Display User wizard is used to display an existing user record.

To display a user record

If the User Search helper is set in properties to display as the first step of the wizard, search for the user. The helper will automatically fill in the User ID box with the ID you selected using this helper.

If a duplicate ID is found (perhaps because an ID used previously for a user has been assigned to a different user), then the system prompts you to select the user record you want.

Some tabs provide right-click menu access to a variety of circulation functions. See the tab topics for more information.

If set in properties to appear, the following helpers may be available for use in the wizard.

After you have viewed this user record, click one of the following options.

Display Another User to display user information for another user.
Edit Bill Note to add a new note or edit an existing note for a selected bill record for the current user.

Note: This button only displays if you do not have right-click menus configured and you have configured the Note column to display in the Display User Wizard Properties using the Show bill note property. This button cannot be clicked unless you have selected a bill record under the Bills Tab.

If you select more than one bill record at once and click Edit Bill Note, WorkFlows modifies only the topmost record of your selection.

Close to exit the wizard.

Important Considerations When Using this Wizard

If the Current button displays, the last user record displayed, modified, or added is retained. Click this button to select this user.
Some tabs may allow you to change display options. Display options determine how information displays. Display options are located in the lower-left corner of the screen.
To print the user record from this wizard, click File, then click Print Screen. The information displays and prints in text format.
It may be possible to find a user by a previous user ID, if configured in policies. Go to the FAQs: Searching User Records topic.
