Display Property Page

The Display Property Page value allows you to choose when to display the Search Interest wizard’s set properties window. Select one of the following options.

Wizard Startup – Displays the Set Properties window the first time you access the wizard until you end the wizard session or log off the client.
Never – Does not display the Set Properties window as part of the wizard workflow. If Never is selected and you want to open the Set Properties window, point to the wizard’s toolbar button, right-click, and then click Properties on the shortcut menu.

Depending on the value selected in Display Property Page, defaults may appear as the first step of the wizard. Property values that are changed in the first step of a wizard are retained only until the right-click method is used to set properties.

Defaults

You may set the following defaults to customize your use of the wizard.

Search Preferences

Under Search Preferences, specify defaults for the following search options.

Default Search – This default selection is used when searching for user records. The default setting is Name.
Library – You can also restrict a user search to a certain library, or library group, by selecting a library name, or library group name, from the Library list. Possible Library items are defined in your policies. The default setting for the Library list box is All Libraries.

General Preferences

Under General Preferences, you can specify the default outreach action, and select a search library.

Outreach Action for all Needed Items – For this setting, make one of the following selections.
Select All – This setting marks all of the suggested items to be sent to the outreach user.
Reject All – This setting declines all of the suggested items for the outreach user.
Individual – This setting allows you to specify an outreach action for each item. You may choose to select, reject, or ignore each item. This option is the default selection.
Search Library - Select the name of the library to be used when searching for items to suggest for the outreach user. The default is Full Access to All Libraries. The selections in the list are defined in your library’s policies.

Helpers

On the Helpers tab, you can select the helpers that you want to display when searching for items based on interest profiles. Click a specific helper button to display the helper properties that you can configure. If the helper name does not display as a button, the helper does not have properties that can be configured.
