Item Search Helper
The Item Search helper is used to display item information. Using the Item Search helper, you can perform a Keyword, Browse, or Exact search. If item information was recently displayed, modified, or added, you can do a Current search.
To search item information

Click the Item Search helper. |

In the Search For box, type your search expression. |

Select the type of search you want to perform. You have these options. |

If a current record exists for the item, click the Current information link to access the last record displayed, modified, or added. |

In the Index list, select an index to search. The search indexes that display are wizard specific. |

Select a library in the Library list to qualify the search. The libraries presented in this list are determined in the helper behavior properties. |

If a list of items displays, select an item, and then continue the process. |
The Circulation Libraries attribute of the Library policy controls which libraries’ catalog records you can search, display, create, and modify.
You can print item information by selecting the Print command from the File menu, or by clicking the Print wizard, if present, on the toolbar.
