The Summary tab displays user information from the outreach user record and from SirsiDynix Symphony. The following information displays on the Summary tab of the search interest results produced by the Search Interest wizard in the Outreach Services module.

The following fields are defined for the Summary tab.
Total Items Found on This Search
This is the number of items suggested for all interest profiles by this Search Interest wizard.
The number of items requested per delivery or shipment by the user displays in this required field. This number must be from 0-32,767.
The Total Items Requested field in the outreach user record establishes the maximum number of records to suggest or select as part of the Search Interest Wizard or the Search Route Interest Records Report or Search User Interest Records Report. Each individual interest profile contains an Items Requested field that limits the number of suggested records for a given interest.
If the sum of the Items Requested fields in a user’s interest profiles exceeds the value in the Total Items Requested field, SirsiDynix Symphony displays the maximum allowable number of hits for each interest profile, in order of rank, until the number of displayed records exceeds the value of the Total Items Requested field.
If there is one or more interest profile of Rank 1 that exceed the items requested, the number for all those profiles plus alternates will be suggested. Same with Rank 2, all of Rank 2 will be returned.
This example illustrates the relationship of Items Requested and Total Items Requested fields. The Total Items Requested field in an outreach user record is set to ten items. The same user has three interest profiles, each of which has a value of five in the Items Requested field.
When records are suggested for this user, the interest profile with a rank of one will be searched first, and five items, plus alternate selections, will be retrieved. Since these six records do not exceed the Total Items Requested, SirsiDynix Symphony suggests records for the interest profile with a rank of two. Six more records are suggested. Since the total of 12 records exceeds the Total Items Requested limit of 10, the third interest profile will not be searched.
This is the remaining number of items that should be selected to meet the number specified in the Total Items Requested field.
This field contains the number of items that are currently selected for distribution to this outreach user.
