FAQs: Maintaining Users on an Outreach Route

The following procedures describe how to add users to an outreach route, change the order of the users on the route, and how to modify a user's outreach information.

How do I add users to the outreach route?

In the Create Route wizard or the Modify Route wizard, use the Add Outreach User to Route Tool to add one or more users to an outreach route.

How do I change the order of users on the outreach route?

The order of the user list for an outreach route can be changing using a shortcut menu.

To change the order of users on an outreach route

A shortcut menu displays.

The user line will display in italics.

How do I modify outreach information for a user on an outreach route?

In Outreach Users tab of an outreach route record, do one of the following to edit the outreach record for a selected user.

Double-click a user in the list of users for an outreach route.
Select a user in the list of users for an outreach route, and click the Modify Outreach User Tool.

The following fields of the user's outreach record can be modified.

Route ID
Total Items Requested
Next Delivery Date
Last Delivery Date
Start Skip Date
End Skip Date

How do I move users from one outreach route to another outreach route?

You may choose to reassign an outreach user from one outreach route to another outreach route if the user moves, or if the outreach route to which the user is currently assigned is to be removed. (An outreach route cannot be removed as long as any outreach users are still assigned to it.)

In the Modify Route wizard or the Remove Route wizard, use the Modify Outreach User Tool to change the route ID in the Route ID field. In the Route ID field, specify the route ID of the outreach route to which you want to reassign the outreach user.
