Serial Control Configuration Wizards

Serial Control policies are used to gather statistics about serial control records, track claims and claim responses, and define chronology names and chronology lists. Serial pattern-type polices are used to relate standard serial frequencies to MARC code values, and to define default enumeration, chronology, and publication cycles in control records.

Click the Serial Control Configuration wizard group button to display the following wizards.

Policy lists and policy values can be downloaded to files on your workstation. See the Export Policies Helper topic for more information.

Only one user at a time can work with policies. This is a safeguard to prevent users from modifying the same policy at the same time.
