BLUEcloud Commerce Account Wizard

The BLUEcloud Commerce Account policy is used to support BLUEcloud Commerce online bill payment functionality for patrons, available from SirsiDynix e-Library. BLUEcloud Commerce functionality enables patrons to pay bills online from SirsiDynix e-Library via a third-party online payment service. This policy specifies which merchant account should receive the money that the payment service accepts as well as which payment service should handle the online transactions.

At this time, this functionality is only compatible with the ProPay payment service.

From the List Policies window, you can create, display, modify, copy, or remove the BLUEcloud Commerce Account policies. Click Close to exit the wizard.

Name

This attribute uniquely identifies a specific BLUEcloud Commerce Account policy. This name is ten characters or less, and may not include spaces or punctuation, except for dash (-), underscore (_), and dollar sign ($). Additionally, the pipe character (|) may not be used.

Description

This attribute provides more information about the policy and its use by the library. The description may be up to 60 characters in length. Although the Description attribute may contain spaces and punctuation, the pipe character (|) cannot be used.

Merchant Account

This attribute specifies the payment service account number set up by your library into which the online payment service should deposit the money it accepts from bill payments. This field is required.

Note: To get an account number for your library, you need to contact the payment service of your library's choice and set up an account. For more information on creating a merchant account, contact your system administrator or the payment service of your library's choice.

For security reasons, after the SirsiDynix Symphony server has read in this value for the first time, WorkFlows always replaces the digits with asterisks (*) in the interface.

BLUEcloud Commerce Type

This attribute specifies which online payment service handles the online bill payments from SirsiDynix e-Library. At this time, ProPay is the only BLUEcloud Commerce type option available. This field is required.
