Onshelf Items Wizard Properties

You can change current system settings in the Onshelf Items wizard using the Set Properties window. The Onshelf Items wizard allows you to set the following properties.

Display Property Page

You can choose when to display the Onshelf Items wizard’s Set Properties window by selecting one of the following options.

Wizard Startup – Displays the Set Properties window the first time you access the wizard until you end the wizard session or log off the client.
Never – Does not display the Set Properties window the first time you access the wizard. If Never is selected and you want to open the Set Properties window, point to the wizard’s toolbar button, right-click, and then click Properties on the shortcut menu.

Depending on the value selected in Display Property Page, defaults may appear as the first step of the wizard. Property values that are changed in the first step of a wizard are retained only until the right-click method is used to set properties.

Behavior

On the Behavior tab, select or clear any of the following check boxes.

Allow Trap Hold – If this check box is selected, the Trap Hold for Selected Copy button displays—and, if right-click menus are configured, this option displays in the Onshelf Items right-click menu. You can select an item in the list and trap the hold for this item. This option is for the station library list only.
Allow Mark Item Missing — If this check box is selected, the Mark Item Missing button displays—and, if right-click menus are configured, this option displays in the Onshelf Items right-click menu. You can select an item in the list, and mark this item as missing. This option is for the station library list only.
Allow Print List — If this check box is selected, users can print the hold item list. This option is for other libraries, as well as the station library list.
Allow Unfill Hold — If this check box is selected, the Unfill Hold button displays—and, if right-click menus are configured, this option displays in the Onshelf Items right-click menu. You can select an item in the list, click this option, and the item will no longer be used to fill the hold. The next available item will be used to fill the hold. This option is for the station library list only.
Display Author — Select this check box to display the Author column in the hold item list.
Display Discharge Date — Select this check box to display the Date/Time Discharged column in the hold item list.
Display Hold Pickup — Select this check box to display the Hold Pickup Library column in the hold item list.

Display User Name — Select this check box to display the User Name column in the hold item list.
Display User Notify Via — Select this check box to display the Notify Via field in the hold item list. Displaying the Notify Via field allows the library to sort all of the users together that have the same information in this field of the user record. For example, the library can sort the list so that all users who are notified by PHONE appear together, making it much easier to call the users.
Prompt for Confirmation Before Marking an Item Missing and Unfilling a Hold — Select this check box to display a confirmation message when marking an item as MISSING and when unfilling a hold. You will need to confirm the action before continuing.
