Receipt Printing Properties for Hold Wrapper Slips
On the Defaults tab, you can set defaults to configure hold wrapper slip printing. You can specify header text, receipt fields, and footer text for hold wrapper slips.
On the Behavior tab, you can select the font, font style, and font weight to be used for each receipt field you selected on the Defaults tab. Each selected receipt field can be set to print horizontally or vertically on the hold wrapper.
Go to Receipt Fields for Hold Wrappers for descriptions of each of the receipt fields you may select to print on hold wrappers, and for information on customizing how the text will appear on hold wrappers.
Hold wrappers will not print if the No Builtin Raster Driver check box is selected in the receipt printer configuration. (Hold wrappers require a printer that supports raster printing.) To see the Configuration dialog, go to the Preference menu, point to Peripherals, and click Receipt Printer.
To specify and format the header, receipt fields, and footer

Click the Defaults tab, if necessary. |

In the Receipt Header field, specify the header (lines of text at the beginning of the hold wrapper slip) using the String List gadget. |

Specify receipt fields (text that displays on the hold wrapper slip) using the Receipt Fields gadget. |

In the Receipt Footer field, specify the footer (lines of text at the end of the hold wrapper slip) using the String List gadget. |

If the selected receipt fields include user ID and/or user names, configure the Privacy Printing Properties to allow enough user information to be printed on the hold wrapper while protecting the user’s privacy. |

If desired, use the Date Formatting Description to print descriptive text on the hold wrapper to explain the date format that your library uses for the available hold expiration date (the Pickup By date). |

Click the Behavior tab, and customize how each receipt field, the header, and the footer will be printed on the hold wrapper. |

Click OK when you have finished configuring the hold wrapper slip printing. |
