The Display Order wizard guides you through the process of displaying an existing order from a specified fiscal cycle. Detailed order summary information and orderline information are available using this wizard.
To display an order
1 | In the Order Search step, identify the specific order you want to display. You must specify a fiscal cycle. If an item library was selected in default properties, the Order Search will display only orders for items owned by that selected library. Or, if you selected a library for Orders for Library in default properties, the order search will filter the order display by that library. You can further qualify your search by selecting a specific orderline. Click Search. |
The following process assumes your search resulted in a specific order/orderline. If your search resulted in a list of orders, see Displaying an Order from an Order List.
2 | If you searched a specific order, the Display Order window displays the following tabs. |
• | Order Tab: Acquisitions |
• | Orderline Tab: Display |
• | Segments Tab |
• | Invoices Tab: Orders |
• | Order History Tab: Orders |
• | Serial Controls Tab |
Review the information on these tabs. For more information about the tab fields and tools, see the tab topics.
3 | To view detailed bibliographic information about the ordered title, click the Display Bibliographic Description Helper. |
4 | Click the Display All Orderlines Helper to view all orderlines in a summary format. |
5 | To print orderline information to a file, click the Save Order Line to File Helper. |
If an on-order title has linked holds, the “This title has holds” message displays above the wizard tabs.
If the on-order title has already been ordered in another order, the “Status Alert: Title already on order” message displays above the wizard tabs.
If the fund used for the on-order title is overencumbered or overspent, the “Warning: Fund over encumbered/spent” message displays above the wizard tabs.
After displaying an order, click one of the following options.
• | Return to Search to display another order from the order search list |
• | New Search to search another order |
• | Close to exit the Display Order wizard |
