Duplicate Selection List Wizard
The Duplicate Selection List wizard guides you through the process of duplicating a selection list control record and the associated list lines.
The decision records linked to the list lines are not duplicated, as well as the order information from the source selection list.
To duplicate a selection list

Click the Duplicate Selection List wizard. |

If your selection list search resulted in a single selection list, the Selection List and List tabs appear. Otherwise, selection lists matching your search criteria appear in a table. Select a list, click Duplicate Selection List, and the Selection List and Lines tabs appear. |

Click the Selection List Tab to display selection list control information. Review the information on this tab and verify this is the selection list you want to duplicate. |

Click the Lines Tab: Selection List to display a list of titles linked to the selection list. Because the decision records and linked order information are not duplicated from the source selection list, the Decisions and Quantity columns will display zeroes. Use the Display List Line Tool and Display Bibliographic Description tool (Display Bibliographic Description Helper) to view detailed information about the list lines and linked title records. |

Select the check boxes next to the list lines you wish to duplicate, or select the Select All check box to duplicate all list lines. |

Or, if the duplicated list is an ordered list, you can click the following options. |

ALL to duplicate all list lines |
|
•
|
Ordered List Lines to duplicate only those lines that have been ordered |
|
•
|
List Lines Not Ordered to duplicate only those lines that have not been ordered |
|
•
|
Selected to select individual list lines to duplicate |

Click Duplicate Selection List, and the Enter Selection List Information window opens. |

Type a List ID, or select AUTO from the list, and type or select a fiscal cycle. Click Create Selection List, and the Selection List and Lines tabs appear. |

On the Lines Tab: Selection List, use the tab tools to add list lines, or display, modify, or remove list lines. For more information, see the tab topic. After making list line changes, click Save Your Changes. |
You may only duplicate selection lists for the libraries allowed by the acquisitions maintenance libraries settings.
ISXN warnings may appear when duplicating selection lists. Correct the ISXN value before continuing. For more information see FAQs: ISBN/ISSN Validation.
After duplicating a selection list, you may click one of the following options.

Save Your Changes after making changes to the selection list |
|
•
|
Return to List to choose another selection list from the list of search results |
|
•
|
New Search to search another selection list |
|
•
|
Close to exit the Duplicate Selection List wizard |
