Route Tab

The Route tab contains fields that display information about the outreach route, such as the route name, the next delivery date, and the number of users assigned to the route. Some fields can be modified to change the route information. In the Display Route wizard, the fields are read-only and cannot be modified.

The following fields are defined for the Route tab.

Route ID

Specifies a unique ID of up to 20 uppercase letters and/or numbers for the route. This ID must be unique to the library for which the route is being created or modified.

If AUTO was specified in the Route ID field, or if the Auto Generate Route ID check box is selected in the Create Route wizard properties, SirsiDynix Symphony assigns a unique route ID when the route record is created.

Note: A route ID can be reused only in another library.

Route Name

Specifies a descriptive name of up to 70 mixed-case letters and/or numbers for the route.

Library

Specifies the name of the library that is to own the outreach delivery route. If you do not select a library, and no default library is specified in the Create Route wizard properties, the station library is used.

Note: This field displays only in multilibrary systems.

Active

Determines whether the delivery route is active or inactive. If the Active check box is selected, the route is active. Clear the check box to deactivate the delivery route.

Note: If you are creating multiple outreach delivery routes, you can create a delivery route and clear the Active check box to keep the route inactive until you have created all of the delivery route records. When you are ready to use the delivery routes, modify each delivery route record and select the Active check box to activate the delivery route.

Date Inactive

Displays the current date if the Active check box is cleared, or NEVER if the Active check box is selected. This field is maintained by the system and cannot be modified.

Next Delivery Date

Specifies the date on which the next delivery is to be made using the route. Use the Calendar gadget to select a date.

Last Delivery Date

Specifies the date on which the previous or first delivery was made using the route. Use the Calendar gadget to select a date.

Date Created

Displays the date on which the outreach route record was created. This field is maintained by the system and cannot be modified.

Date Modified

Displays the date on which the outreach route record was most recently edited. This field is maintained by the system and cannot be modified.

Created By

Displays the user ID of the user who created the outreach route record. This field is maintained by the system and cannot be modified.

Last Modified By

Displays the user ID of the user who most recently edited the outreach route record. This field is maintained by the system and cannot be modified.

Number of Users on Route

Displays the current number of users on the outreach route. This field is maintained by the system and cannot be modified. The Outreach Users tab can be used to adjust the number of users on the outreach route.

Route Extended Information

Specifies additional information about the route. Format policies for the outreach route and outreach user extended information determine which fields are available under Route Extended Information.
