Create Outreach Information Wizard

Before a user can receive outreach services, an outreach user record must be created for the user. Outreach information must be attached to the user record and one or more interest profiles must be created. You can use the Create Outreach Information wizard to make an existing user into an outreach user.

To create outreach information for a user

If a list of matching user records appears, select a user, and click Create Outreach.

The Route ID field is required. Use the Route Search Gadget to select the outreach route to which the user will be assigned.

After the outreach user record has been created, select one of the following options.

Modify Outreach Information to make changes to the outreach user you just created.
Create Another Outreach User to return to the User Search window so you can search for another user.
Return to List to return to the List of Users window (This option displays only if the user has more than one history record, and you displayed one of the records).
Close to exit the wizard.

After outreach route records have been created and circulation and user policies have been modified, you may define special loan periods or fine policies for outreach users, if desired.
