Review Status WizardReview Status WizardThe Review Status policy is used with cataloging review records, and allows libraries to define their own review terminology. Review Status policies appear in catalog records that are loaded for review by one of the bibliographic record loading reports.
From the List Policies window, you can create, display, modify, copy, or remove the Review Status policies. Click Close to exit the wizard.
Attributes
The Review Status policy contains the following attributes.

This attribute uniquely identifies a specific review status. This name is ten characters or less, and may not include spaces or punctuation, except for dash (-), underscore (_), and dollar sign ($). Additionally, the pipe character (|) may not be used.
This attribute provides more information about the policy and its use by the library. The description may be up to 60 characters in length. Although the Description attribute may contain spaces and punctuation, the pipe character (|) cannot be used.
Review Status policies must be one of three types, Review, Approve, or Delete. Select a type from the list.
| • | Review — Review Status policies of this type are assigned to catalog records that have yet to be reviewed. Records loaded for review through the record loading reports (such as Review Bibliographic Records) may only be assigned a Review Status policy of this type. |
| • | Approve — Approve-type Review Status policies are used to mark catalog records that have been reviewed and accepted for addition to the catalog. When a record loading report is run with the option to reload approved review records, any catalog record with an approve-type Review Status is loaded into the catalog. |
| • | Delete — Delete-type Review Status policies are used to mark review records that should be deleted from the system. Records with a delete-type Review Status are removed by running the Remove DELETE Records report. |
