Propose Authority Map Wizard

The Proposed Authority Map policies are used by the Propose Authority processing of the Validate Headings helper. The policy maps the bibliographic entry ID to an authority format when an authority record is created from a bibliographic entry using the Proposed Authority processing. For subject entries, a subject source, as specified by the second indicator value, may also be specified. For more information about the Propose Authority processing, go to the Validate Headings Helper topic.

From the List Policies window, you can create, display, modify, copy, or remove a Proposed Authority Map policy. Click Close to exit the wizard.

SirsiDynix Symphony administrators should not change or remove the delivered values for the Propose Authority Map policy.
