Pending Item Location Policy

The Pending Item Location policy is a Global Configuration policy that is read by the WorkFlows client at startup and stored as a global variable. On systems configured to use Collection Exchange, this policy allows the library to select the current location that is to be used when the item is exchanged but not yet shipped. Libraries may use a customized Location policy name to indicate that the exchanged items are pending shipping (for example, PENDSHIP), thus preventing patrons using the e-Library or an OPAC from thinking that the items are in the stacks.

This policy contains one attribute, Pending Item Location. The possible values for this attribute are defined with the Location wizard.

No default value is delivered for this policy. To select a value, select Pending Item Location, and click Modify. Select a location name from the Pending Item Location list. Click Save to save your changes.
