Network Wizard

The Network policy declares the presence of a domain name server so a networked destination can use a name rather than an IP address.

Click the Network wizard icon to displays the policy attributes. Click Close to exit the wizard.

Attributes

The following attributes are associated with the Network policy.

Description

Type the name of the Domain Name Server you are using. For example, www.sirsi.com is a domain name.

Domain Name Server

Select Domain Name Server to specify whether or not you have a domain name server configured. A domain name server is a piece of software that translates machine names (www.sirsi.com) to Internet addresses (123.45.67.8). If this attribute is not selected, only IP addresses are used.
