Display Of User Social Security Number Field

The user’s Social Security Number is recorded for systems using the Accountability module. The Display Of User Social Security Number Field policy is a Global Configuration policy that is read by the WorkFlows client at startup and stored as a global variable. This policy determines whether or not the system will display the user’s Social Security Number in circulation wizard windows.

This Global Configuration policy will only display on systems that are configured to use the Accountability module.

The Display Of User Social Security Number Field policy appears on the User Accountability tab of the Global Configuration wizard. The default value for this policy appears in the Select a Policy window. To modify this value, select Display Of User Social Security Number Field and click Modify. Click a radio button to select one of the policy attributes. Click Save to save your selection. The default value is Display User Social Security Number Field.

Do Not Display User Social Security Number Field

Click this radio button to suppress the display of the User Social Security Number field in circulation wizards.

Display User Social Security Number Field

Click this radio button to display the User Social Security Number field in circulation wizards.
