Display Of Previous User ID Field Policy

The Display Of Previous User ID Field policy is a Global Configuration policy that is read by the WorkFlows client at startup and stored as a global variable. This policy determines whether or not the user ID displays in the item record (the ID of the user who previously checked out the item).

The Display Of Previous User ID Field policy appears on the User Information tab of the Global Configuration wizard. The default value for this policy appears in the Select a Policy window. To modify this value, select Display Of Previous User ID Field and click Modify. Click a radio button to select one of the policy attributes. Click Save to save your selection. The default value is Display Previous User ID.

Attributes

This policy contains the following attributes.

Do Not Display Previous User ID

Click this radio button to suppress the display of the previous User ID field when displaying item records.

Display Previous User ID

Click this radio button to display the previous User ID field when displaying item records. If this option is selected, the ID of the user who previously checked out the item will display as part of the circulation information in Item Search and Display wizard.
