Important Considerations When Using this Wizard

If the user is blocked, an alert window will display.
If an available hold is removed, the Remove User Hold wizard checks to see if the item has another hold on it and which library owns the item.
If the next hold has a different pickup library, or if the item does not have another hold on it and should be sent back to the owning library, the Remove User Hold wizard will put the item in transit automatically or prompt you to put the item in transit. The wizard puts the item in transit or displays a prompt depending on the Configure Automatic Transit Of Items For Circulation policy in the Global Configuration wizard.
When a user’s record is located, information from the user record displays under User Information. User Information only displays if the Configure Display of User Status Header attribute in the Global Configuration wizard is set to Display User Status Header in Circulation Wizards.
It may be possible to find a user by a previous user ID, if configured in policies. Go to the FAQs: Searching User Records topic.
