Receive Transit Wizard

The Receive Transit wizard is used to take items in transit to your library out of transit. You can also perform this function using the Pending Transits wizard.

This wizard is available only if your library is part of a multilibrary system.

Close to exit the wizard

Important Considerations When Using this Wizard

If the Display Instructions wizard property is selected, the Items Received dialog box displays with title and routing information. Click OK to close the dialog box.
If an item from a floating collection was put in transit to your library to satisfy a hold, and the hold was removed while the item was still in transit, you will be directed to shelve it in your library unless it is needed at another library for a hold, booking, or reserve. The item’s owning library changes to the receiving library. For more information on floating collections, go to FAQs: Handling Floating Collections.
You can receive circulation set items by clicking the Receive Set tab and typing or scanning the set ID. This tab will display all received circulation set items.
