Global Item Modification Helper Properties
The Global Item Modification helper allows the following properties to be set.
Behavior
On the Behavior tab, you can select which item characteristics you want to edit globally. Select or clear any of the following check boxes.
Defaults
On the Defaults tab, select the item values defaults you want to use.
With the exception of the Price default, the delivered value is Will Not Be Modified so that only the item values you actually select will be edited globally.

In the Item Type list, select the new item type default. |

In the Home Location list, select the permanent location where items are supposed to be when not circulating. |

In the Item Category 1 list, select the value you want in the Item Cat 1 field. |
|
•
|
In the Item Category 2 list, select the value you want in the Item Cat 2 field. |
|
•
|
In the Item Category 3 list, select the value you want in the Item Cat 3 field. |
|
•
|
In the Item Category 4 list, select the value you want in the Item Cat 4 field. |
|
•
|
In the Item Category 5 list, select the value you want in the Item Cat 5 field. |
|
•
|
In the Item Library list, select the library these items belong to. |
|
•
|
In the Shadowed list, select if you want to the item to be shadowed. |
|
•
|
In the Permanent list, select whether the item is part of your library’s permanent collection. |
|
•
|
In the Circulate list, select whether a system-generated circulation rule can be overridden. |
|
•
|
In the Price field, type the default price you want to use for new items. |
