Display Title Reservations Wizard Properties

You can change certain system settings and defaults for the Display Title Reservations wizard by using the Set Properties window. The Display Title Reservations wizard allows the following properties to be set.

Display Property Page

You can choose when to display the Display Title Reservations wizard's Set Properties window by selecting one of the following options.

•

Wizard Startup displays the Set Properties window the first time you access the wizard until you end the wizard session or log off the client.

•

Never does not display the Set Properties window the first time you access the wizard. If Never is selected and you want to open the Set Properties window, point to the wizard's toolbar button, right-click, and then click Properties on the shortcut menu.

Depending on the value selected in Display Property Page, defaults may appear as the first step of the wizard. Property values that are changed in the first step of a wizard are retained only until the right–click method is used to set properties.

Defaults

You may set defaults to customize your use of the wizard.

Search Preferences

Select the following search options.

•

Preferred Search Type – Select one of the search method options: Keyword, Browse, or Exact. Keyword is the default search preference type.

•

Preferred Search Index – Select an index from the drop-down list. The default index is Title.

•

Item Library – Select a default item library from the drop-down list. Your search results will include only items owned by the selected library.

Reservation Lookup Preferences

Select the following reservation search options.

•

Pickup Library – Select a pickup library from the drop-down list to limit your search results to include only reservations with the selected pickup library.

Select an option to filter the lookup by date. The following options are available.

Calendar/Number of Months

Number of months – Enter the number of months you would like to display on the reservations calendar.

Calendar year – Enter a four–digit calendar year to limit your search results to include reservations within a particular year.

Date Range

Start Date – Use the Calendar gadget to select a start date when performing a search to limit your search results to include only reservations with the selected start date.

End Date – Use the Calendar gadget to select an end date when performing a search to limit your search results to include only reservations with the selected end date.

If you select a Date range Lookup Preference, the Tab Display Preference property is not available because the Reservations tab is automatically used.

Tab Display Preference

Select which tab should display first.

•

Calendar – Displays the reservations calendar for the title.

•

Reservations – Displays the list of reservations for the title.
