ERMS WizardERMS WizardThe ERMS wizard is used to access Serials Solutions, a third-party electronic resource management application. When you click this wizard, the WorkFlows Java client launches the default browser of your workstation and takes you to the Serials Solutions Client Center login page. The Serials Solutions URL, password, and authentication are stored in the User Access policy linked to your login.
To use the ERMS wizard, the Serial Solutions ERMS feature must be configured for your system.
Once the Serials Solutions ERMS is configured, this wizard appears on the Acquisitions and Serial Control toolbars. Additionally, the following policies must be modified.
| • | User Access Policy – The User Access policies for users permitted to use Serial Solutions ERMS must have the URL, Account, and Password fields completed on the ERMS tab. The Access List for these policies must include the ERMS wizard. |
| • | Library Policy – The Library policies linked to these User Access policies must store a base URL for an open URL resolver. This information appears on the Open URL Resolver tab in the policy. The WorkFlows Open URL Resolver presents links to the Serials Solutions resources the you have access to. |
