Modify Request Wizard
The Modify Request wizard is used to make changes to a request. This wizard is also used to reply to library users’ requests.
To modify a request

In the Lookup Request window, in the Index field, select either Alt ID, Request ID or User ID as your search criteria. |
To further narrow the search, under User Requests, select With Replies, Without Replies, or All.

Click Search, and a list of requests displays. |
The Request type, Request ID, Date Placed, Status, User, and Title display for each request.

Select the request you want to modify, and click Continue. |
The Modify Request screen displays detailed information about the user and the request that was displayed in the Search Request ID list.

Review information on the following tabs, and make changes as needed. |
Note: If you are sending a reply, be sure to update the Date Replied and Status fields on the Reply tab.

Click Modify to save the changes you made to this request record. |
After modifying an existing request record, you can select one of the following options.

Modify to confirm changes or make more changes |
|
•
|
Return to List to return to the list of requests |
|
•
|
Next to display the next request record in the list of requests |
|
•
|
Previous to display the previous request record in the list of requests |
|
•
|
Another to modify another request |
|
•
|
Close to exit the Modify Request wizard |
