Create Request WizardCreate Request WizardThe Create Request wizard allows you to add a new request record to the system. For example, you may use this wizard to record requisition suggestions or to send a message to a library user.
When creating a new Request, the fields that display depend the Request type, so be certain to review the Properties to confirm or change the default request type.
To create a request
| 1 | Type the appropriate information for the Request on the Basic, Request, and Reply tabs. Text boxes can be modified depending the request type. |
| 2 | Click Create to save the Request. |
After creating a request, you can select one of the following options.
| • | Modify to confirm changes or make more changes |
| • | Another to create another request |
| • | Close to exit the Create Request wizard |
If the Generate New Request IDs Automatically behavior property is not enabled, you will either have to type a request number in the Request ID field or choose AUTO from the drop-down list. If this property is enabled, the Request ID field will have a system-generated request number supplied.
When creating the different kinds of requests, any required fields will display when you click Create
