Delivered User Profile Policies

The following User Profile policies are delivered. Please note that some of these directories may or may not exist based on the setup of your server.

Name	Description	Function
SIRSI	SirsiDynix Support	This policy is for use by Customer Support.
ADMIN	System administrator	These policies are used for training purposes and can be removed after training if desired. Note: The ADMIN policy can be deleted if there is an appropriate replacement super-user for ADMIN.
CIRC	Circulation staff
TECH	Technical services staff
ILL	ILL Library user	These policies are delivered with SirsiDynix Symphony and can be used as profile templates.
STAFF	Library Staff use
PUBLIC	Public policy
WEBSERVER	World Wide Web access	This policy is used by SirsiDynix e-Library for communication.
DISCARD	Discarded items	These policies are used for item processing (e.g. missing items are linked to the missing user). Under no circumstances should these policies be deleted.
LOST	Lost items
MISSING	Missing items
INTRANSIT	Items traveling from one branch to another	These policies should not be deleted, if they exist. Whether or not a certain policy exists depends on the setup of your server.
