Authority Index Wizard

The Authority Index policy identifies different authority index databases into which SirsiDynix Symphony can load authority records and in which SirsiDynix Symphony can look up headings when checking bibliographic headings in catalog records under authority control. Authority indexes are also used by the Authority Lookup step. The authority index is maintained real-time. The authority index is automatically updated when authority records are added, changed, or removed.

From the List Policies window, you can create, display, modify, copy, or remove the Authority Index policies. Click Close to exit the wizard.
