Print Patron Card Wizard Properties

You can change current system settings in the Print Patron Card wizard using the Set Properties window. The Print Patron Card wizard allows you to set the following properties.

Display Property Page

The Display Property Page value allows you to choose when to display the Print Patron Card wizard’s Set Properties window. Select one of the following options.

•

Wizard Startup – Displays the Set Properties window the first time you access the wizard until you end the wizard session or log off the client.

•

Never – Does not display the Set Properties window as part of the wizard workflow. If Never is selected and you want to open the Set Properties window, point to the wizard’s toolbar button, right-click, and then click Properties on the shortcut menu.

Depending on the value selected in Display Property Page, defaults may appear as the first step of the wizard. Property values that are changed in the first step of a wizard are retained only until the right-click method is used to set properties.

Defaults

On the Defaults tab, select values for the following fields.

Display Printer & Templates – Select this check box to display the Patron Card Template and Desktop Printer fields in the wizard window. Users can select different printer and patron card template values within the wizard work flow.

Patron Card Template – Select a patron card template from the drop-down list.

Important: All templates are listed, so be sure to only select a template that is supported by the printer you select in the Desktop Printer box.

Desktop Printer – Select a card printer from the drop-down list.

Important: This list displays all printers configured for the desktop, so be sure to only select a printer that has built-in card printing capability.

Helpers

On the Helpers tab, you can select the helpers to appear when printing patron cards. Click the User Search Helper button to display the helper properties that you can set.
