The hold count is dependent on the SirsiDynix Symphony configuration setting to base the priority on the user’s home library or on the hold pickup library in addition to the Detailed Hold Count helper selections.
Various hold counters and item counters display in the Display Title Holds wizard and the Detailed Hold Count helper. The following lists briefly explain each counter.

This counter shows the number of holds on the title that were placed by users whose library matches the selected library.
Total holds for pickup at my library
This counter shows the number of holds on the title with a pickup library that matches the selected library.
Total holds for pickup within my group
This counter shows the number of holds on the title with pickup libraries in the same hold libraries group as the selected library.
This counter displays holds for all libraries in the hold libraries group except for the selected library.
Total holds remaining within the system
This counter shows the number of holds on the title that were placed by users outside of the selected library or the selected library’s hold libraries group.
This counter shows the number of holds on the title that were placed at the Title hold level. The hold total includes available holds, suspended holds, unfilled holds, and holds on items that are on order and have no copies.
This counter shows the number of holds on the title that were placed at the Copy hold level.
If you specify Copy as the hold level, the following message displays for holds that have been placed on items that are on order since no copies have yet been added to the title.
Copy does not exist
This counter shows the number of holds on the title that were placed on a specific volume of a multivolume set.
This counter shows the number of holds on the title that were placed with the Library range.
This counter shows the number of holds on the title that were placed with the Group range.
This counter shows the number of holds on the title that were placed with the System range.
This counter shows the total number of items for the selected title.
This counter shows the total number of items of a title that can have holds placed on them, whether or not they are currently available to fill the hold. The total holdable items count is the number of items for the title minus the number of items that are not permitted to have holds placed on them.
Total holdable items owned by my library
This counter shows the number of items of a title that are owned by the selected library and can have holds placed on them, whether or not they are currently available to fill a hold. Any items owned by the selected library that do not permit holds to be placed on them are excluded from this count.
Total holdable items owned by my group
This counter shows the number of items of a title that are owned by the libraries in the selected library’s hold libraries group and can have holds placed on them, whether or not they are currently available to fill a hold. Any items owned by these libraries that do not permit holds to be placed on them are excluded from this count.
Total holdable items within the system
This counter shows the number of items of a title that are owned by all libraries in the library system and can have holds placed on them, whether or not they are currently available to fill a hold. Any items that may not have holds placed on them are excluded from this count.
This counter shows the number of items of a title that are owned by libraries in the selected library’s hold libraries group.
Total items owned by my library
This counter shows the number of items of a title that are owned by the selected library.
