How do I modify a due date if the user forgot his or her library card?
When the user cannot present a library card for you to scan, use the User Search Helper in the Modify Due Dates wizard to search for the correct user record.
Will the Modify Due Dates wizard check for upcoming bookings before assigning a new due date?
The wizard can be configured to check for upcoming bookings or reservations and shorten the new due date accordingly. The Shorten Loan Periods that Conflict with Upcoming Bookings and Reservations property displays on the Behavior tab for this wizard, and only displays on systems configured to use the Booking module. If selected, an item that is reserved for a future booking will have the due date shortened to the upcoming booking actual start time (with shipping/preparation), and a message with the new due date will display.
