Need to Know Tab

The Need to Know tab displays the following fields.

To add more need to know assignments, use the Insert Row Before Helper and Insert Row After Helper at the top of the tab. To remove need to know assignments, use the Delete Row Helper.

The following fields are defined for this tab.

Need to Know

This field contains the subject area or type of information the user is allowed to access. This field is the third level of security the user must meet before checking out accountable materials in the assigned subject area. The subject areas are based on library-specified policies. See the Need to Know Wizard for more information. Select a need to know value from the drop-down list.

Review Date

This field contains the date the item’s need to know subject areas will be reviewed so they can be changed if necessary. Use the Calendar Gadget to select a date the need to know for this item should be reviewed.
