Reserve Session Settings Wizard

The Reserve Session Settings wizard is used to determine specific property-type settings for a range of wizards during your WorkFlows session. The values in the session settings behave in the same way that Properties behave. If you save properties when exiting, your session settings are saved for use in the next WorkFlows session.

Select the Reserve Session Settings wizard to specify academic reserves and academic reservations settings. If no preference defaults are set at the start of a wizard, you will receive a system message, and the Reserve Session Settings wizard displays automatically for review.

Defaults Tab

On the Defaults tab, you can set up your system to allow these variations to the wizard process.

Review Settings Each Session – Select or clear this check box to specify whether or not you want to review reserves settings with each session.
Session Preferences – Specify the Reserve Desk you want to use by default for the academic reserves and academic reservations wizards. You can specify up to two Reserve Desk settings.
Reserve Desk (When ALL Invalid) – specifies the Reserve Desk to use if a wizard does not allow ALL as a valid Reserve Desk selection.
Reserve Desk (When ALL Valid) – specifies the Reserve Desk to use if a wizard accepts ALL as a valid Reserve Desk selection.

The defaults contained in these session settings are used throughout the wizards on the Reserves toolbar, including academic reservations wizards.

The names that display in the Reserve Desk (When ALL Invalid) list and the Reserve Desk (When ALL Valid) list are defined in the Reserve Desk Policy.
